If you missed our event on September 15th, you can still view these films until September 30, 2020.
Thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural event! For those who would like to view the films again (or for the first time), you can register at our What connects us-Ce qui nous lie Au Contraire Community Cinema page. We will send you a quick survey once you have viewed the films.
Please join us for our first What connects us - Ce qui nous lie public event, occurring shortly before World Alzheimer's Day. We are proud to be collaborating with Au Contraire and Les Arts et La Ville to host two award-winning films and a special panel discussion on dementia, its depiction and our reflections on stigma. The free screening will be followed with a special panel discussion with key partners of our project from different sectors of our community:
- Marilyn LaJeunesse, Educational Program Officer, Sharing the Museum, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
- Marie Christine Le Bourdais, Director of Programs & Services, Alzheimer's Society of Montreal
- Karl Looper, Psychiatrist-in-Chief, Department of Psychiatry, Jewish General Hospital
- Philip Silverberg, creator and founder of the Au Contraire Film Festival and Urban Pardes
