This Public Health Agency of Canada Community Investment Project supports the vision of A Dementia Strategy for Canada: Together We Aspire. The objective is to improve the quality of life of people living with Alzheimer’s and related disorders and their carers.
As the project team of What connects us~ Ce qui nous lie, we believe that improving the quality of life of persons living with Alzheimer's and carers depends on our ability to create an interconnected community for all through shared stories and events.
Land acknowledgement :
We would like to acknowledge that our project is located on Tiohtià:ke (Montréal), unceded Indigenous lands which have long served as a space to live, meet, gather and exchange for different Indigenous nations. We recognize the Kanien’kehà:ka (Mohawk), St. Laurence Iroquoians, Haudensaunee and Huron-Wendat as the custodians of these lands and waters, which are home to many different Indigenous communities and other diverse populations. What Connects Us ~ Ce qui nous lie respects the weaving of past, present and future relationships in this place where we are situated.
